Our critical care unit serves patients who require continuous, comprehensive care because of the critical nature of their medical status. The Critical Care Unit at Coral Gables Hospital is comprised of Medical and Surgical beds.  The Units are operational 24 hours a day and are designed to provide a concentration of skills and equipment for specialized medical and nursing care.

We use a multi-disciplinary approach to achieve individualized care through your physician, along with consultations with physical therapy, dietary, pharmacy, respiratory therapy and social services when appropriate to meet your needs.
