Sudden cardiac arrest happens to more than 356,000 people each year – and 9 out of 10 victims die. Just like it sounds, the heart stops abruptly, without warning. However, calling 911, starting CPR and using an AED when a person is having sudden cardiac arrest can save a life. Survival rates double or triple when people take action. So, don’t be afraid!
