We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. To do so, we are actively working with consultants to update the website by increasing its accessibility and usability by persons who use assistive technologies
such as automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.
We are working to have the website conform to the relevant standards of the Section 508 Web Accessibility Standards developed by the United States Access Board, as
well as the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These standards and guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. We believe that conformance with these standards and
guidelines will help make the website more user friendly for all people.
Our efforts are ongoing. While we strive to have the website adhere to these guidelines and standards, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.
If, at any time, you have specific questions or concerns about the accessibility of any particular webpage, please contact WebsiteAccess@tenethealth.com so that we may be of assistance.
An Update for our community on the COVID-19 Vaccination Process
We are currently in Phase 1 of our COVID-19 vaccination plan. This means we are vaccinating front line staff and physicians with first responders to follow. We have started initial planning for community vaccinations, but we have not received enough vaccine supply at this time. We are working closely with our state and local leaders, and we will keep everyone informed as more vaccine doses become available and we are able to expand vaccination capability. The most effective safety measures we can take against COVID-19 continue to be wearing a mask, washing our hands, and maintaining social distance. We remind our community not to delay care. Our hospitals are open, safe and ready to care for you.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and thank you for choosing Coral Gables Hospital. Our long legacy of offering high quality healthcare to the Coral Gables and Miami communities began over 90 years ago in the same place our hospital
stands today. From our humble beginnings in 1926 as a 35-bed facility, we have experienced tremendous change and positive growth to consistently offer our patients and their families some of the most advanced medical options in our 245-bed hospital.
I have had the honor of seeing much of this extraordinary development firsthand since I joined the hospital more than 30 years ago.
At Coral Gables Hospital, our focus is on patient experience and clinical outcomes. Our staff prides itself on serving our patients and their families with a warm and friendly attitude and unwavering commitment to provide quality care.
